Chelsea Youngster On Trial
Chelsea youngster Billy Clifford has been named amongst the Walsall substitutes against Mansfield today.
Clifford who plays primarily as a central midfielder has been rumoured to be joining the club on loan as a replacement for the injured Sam Mantom.
Clifford who is 21, joined Chelsea as a youngster and came through the academy where he has worked closely with former Saddler, Ada Viveash.
In 2011, Clifford penned a new four year deal at Chelsea and has recently spent time on loan with Colchester, Yeovil and most notably on loan with Royal Antwerp where he would have played alongside fellow trialist, Mathieu Manset.
