'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Sir Ray Gives Support To Ginger Mourinho

Current Walsall boss Dean Smith has been given high praise from former Walsall boss Ray Graydon.

If there was a man in this world in which you would want a glowing reference on the job your currently doing, then the man dubbed Sir Ray Graydon is that man.

Speaking to the Walsall Advertiser former Walsall boss Graydon said; 'Walsall's result is still the first one I look out for and I think the manager is doing a fantastic job.

'They have been so close to the play-offs the last couple of seasons and perhaps this coming year will be the one where they make it.

'I like what I see with Dean, that he wants to play the game the right way and that he expects players to behave correctly.

'He's an organised and well-respected coach and it's good to see that the club is still thriving.'
