Saddlers on SKY sports

The FA Cup first round tie at Moss Road has been moved to Monday night for the benefit of the SKY cameras. Whilst it would be nice to think that it was due to our fantastic start to the season itis more likely to do with Macclesfield. In fact it is all to do with Paul Ince.

With new manager and high profile name in place SKY will be hoping that the honeymoon period for the Silkmen will include a shock cup win over table topping Saddlers.

However no matter what the windfall of approx 71,000 from Sky and the possibility of an additional 16,000 if we win the game will help our search for new players, Jeff willing of course.

One strange factor is that the draw is scheduled to take place before our game so in fact we have already reached the second round......draw!!!

Whatever the reason, always good for the club to get tv money and I'm sure the fact the saddlers are riding high had something to do with it, have some faith!!
