FA Cup draw

FA Cup draw

The magic the FA Cup brings to the game and Walsall fans is special. Whether it be the memories of great giant killings or days out at Man Utd and the likes, or the despair following early exit at the hands of lower league or non league teams. Well its that time of year again.

Will we be at home or away, near or far against a league team or non league? We will soon know.

Lets look at some of the Fourth Qualifying round games which might provide interesting opponents.
Local Rivals
Burton v Halifax
Kidderminster v Droylsden
Moor Green v Morecambe
Stafford v Scarborough
Tamworth v Harrogate Town

Whilst there is no Chasetown this year the interesting teams to be drawn aginst could include
Newcastle Benfield (BP)V York City
Tonbridge Angles v Newport County
Whilst many fans would like to see AFC Wimbledon beat Exeter to draw the MK Dons.....now that is the magic of the cup.

The draw will take place at 5.30pm on hsaturday, whilst first round games will take place the weekend 11th November.
