Rumour Mill Walsall's new striker

Rumour Mill Walsall's new striker

Having left Bescot under a cloud having decided he was leaving at the end of the season, his every miss was blamed for relegation. The striker in question went on to greater things even an England cap although I don't know how that happened. However the only thing greater than his ego was the size of his belly. That seems to have been his down fall.

Having moved club to club in an effort to get his career back on track, Michael Ricketts was given a last gasp chance at Southend however he has now been booted out apparently for poor time keeping and fitness problems.

The rumour via internet message boards and unconfirmed sources sugest that Dickie is on the verge of giving him another chance at Bescot. DD has shown that he will instill discipline and fitness so this is a move that could work, although we would have to give him time to return to fitness and sharpness. The option of Ricketts, Butler and Sam with Constable and Nicholls in reserve would give our attack a promotion looking feel it it.

However it is understood that although some sites are saying it is a done deal, I understand that DD has other Irons in the fire but the strikers been looked at would not be able to join until January unless a loan deal was sorted before hand.
