Matt Gadsby Fund

Fans have put there hands in there pockets to pull out over 5,000 for the Matt Gadsby fund. It must be remembered that it is not only saddlers who have contributed, and a special thanks must go to the Mansfield fans who also put there hands in there pockets for Matt, and also those who cycled from Field Mill to Bescot to raise money.

Despite handing over a cheque for 5,300. the fund raising hasn't finished. If anyone is interested there is a memorial game at the Newton Regis sports ground (near Tamworth) on sunday October 29th kick off 1.30pm. Peter Shilton and Hinkley Utd boss Dean Thomas has arranged to play against a team of Leicester City Old stars. Already confirmed are Cyrille Regis, Gordon Cowans, Tony Morley, Mickey Gynn plus many others.

Admission will be 3 for adults 1 for children.
