Smith Relects On Brentford Defeat

Smith Relects On Brentford Defeat

Dean Smith reflects on our first defeat of the season, following our 1-0 defeat at the hands of promotion favourites Brentford.

'It's disappointing to lose our unbeaten run,' he said. 'We were not good enough in the first half but gave it a real go after the break and deserved to take something from the game in the end.

'It was always going to be difficult coming here; I told the lads at half-time that we could be better with the ball and play in between them, which we did after the break'

'We now turn our attention to the next game at Stoke on Wednesday. It'll be another tough one, but we're looking forward to it. It's one that the lads can go and enjoy and play with freedom.'
