'If It's Football, It's Vital'

League Two Preview

This week, all the fixtures are being played over three days, mainly due to England playing Macedonia. However, the games to look out for include Lincoln, who have to face a Hartlepool side in good form after a slow start to the season. It is a clash between 4th and 7th respectively, and Lincoln need to regain ground at the top, especially after their disappointing defeat at home to Bury last weekend. Another game to look out for is Shrewsbury against rock-bottom Macclesfield. Ian Brightwell has stepped into the frame as caretaker manager of Macclesfield, after Brian Horton was sacked last week. So, can 'Brights` make a difference and get his team some much needed points against a very good Shrews side, who need to start scoring more goals. The high-flying Saddlers face a tough trip to Chester. The rest of the line-up over the weekend looks like this:

Friday 6th October 2006
Chester v Walsall
Darlington v Rochdale
Lincoln City v Hartlepool
Milton Keynes Dons v Peterborough
Shrewsbury v Macclesfield
Wycombe v Torquay

Saturday 7th October 2006
Accrington Stanley v Swindon
Bristol Rovers v Boston Utd
Mansfield v Notts County
Stockport v Barnet

Sunday 8th October 2006
Grimsby v Hereford
