Sawyers And Westcarr At Halesowen Tonight

Sawyers And Westcarr At Halesowen Tonight

Former Saddler Craig Westcarr will play in our friendly tonight against Halesowen, along with former loanee Romain Sawyers.

Westcarr has remained silent through the summer since the end of his contract however the club confirmed that both parties were a long way off agreeing personal terms.

Sawyers was given brief appearances during his loan spell from West Bromwich last season but struggled to dislodge Brandy and Paterson but given both have now moved to new clubs Sawyers has a chance to impress Smith once more.

Also joining the squad this evening is Joel Purkiss - the brother of Saddlers full back Ben.

We shall send a fairly youthful squad with the first team heading back this afternoon from Trinidad.

Squad for this evening is

Jones, Lewis, Christophorou, Ashmore, Garner, Dallison, Reid, J Purkiss, Bennett, Westcarr, Sawyers, Bakayoko, Rush, Kinsella, Probert.

Admission at The Grove is £5 adults, £3 senior citizens and students, £2 for juniors under the age of 16 and free entry for children under the age of 12.
