Wacka Questions Club Over Brandy Departure

Walsall legend Jimmy Walker has tonight questioned Walsall's transfer policy via Twitter.

Wacka has made the most appearances in a Walsall shirt and will have seen many players come and go, however he revealed what he felt about the clubs dealings regarding Febian Brandy's departure to Sheffield United

Jimmy holds the record for the most appearances by a Walsall player after making 530 appearances upto January last year. Although his return back here hasnt been a momentous one no one will forget the service he has given the club, however comments like this will slightly tarnish his reputation.

Jimmy started his career as a youngster at Notts County before moving to Walsall in 1993. Between 1993 and 2004 Jimmy was given legendary status for his shot stopping ability and also his banter with the Walsall faithful. During his 1st time here he was promoted 3 times in what was one of our most succesful periods in the history of Walsall FC.

Jimmy was given a 10 year testimonial in 2003 and an autobiography was also released.

In 2004, Jimmy broke alot of Walsall hearts when he moved to West Ham United on a free transfer - alot of us will admit he owed us nothing and the 11 years had paid for any transfer fee we could ever imagine.
In March 2006, Jimmy finally made his Premiership debut at the youthful age of 32 and won an FA Cup runners up medal that season.

In October 2010 the unthinkable happened and Jimmy returned back to Walsall. Since 2010 Jimmy has played a further 50 games for the club and helping the club to surival the past 2 years. Unfortuantely this season hadnt panned out how we had hoped.

On his own Twitter feed, Wacka said

'I blame the club for him @FebianBrandy leaving anyway!! I told them to offer him a new deal in jan/feb wen he was flyin #sameoldsameold'

He continued to discuss with fellow fans and one fan (richie_p) said:

@richie_p7: I agree with you tbh. Club have never acted when they should to tie these players down. P.S. come back pls.

Wacka replied 'too true mate they new he only had a couple of mnths left..He wud of signed! cud give u 20 examples over the years!! #fansdeservemore'
