Smith Confirms 'No Ground Share'
Anyone who has been following the Coventry groundshare story closely, will have noticed that both Walsall and Coventry play at home on alternate dates next season. Throw this in with the fact Sisu have now purchased Coventry City and as you can imagine - yesterday the rumours went into overdrive!
Walsall boss Dean Smith spoke to Radio WM this morning and gave his opinion on the rumours.
Smith said I've been led to believe there wont be any ground share between ourselves and Coventry' "I for one am please. I just dont see it working. Coventry are in administration and are in the same league as us, I think it would have looked a bit silly"
He added "The weather has caused us alot of trouble this year and I dont think playing two games a week will be good for the pitch. Plus I dont really want to share my office with anyone else either!"
