Westy gets the vote

Westy gets the vote

In our poll on who you wanted at right back 71% voted for Chris Westwood, whilst 29% wanted Craig Pead.

This represents a significant turnaround for Westwood who was saddlers scapegoat for many last season. He has struggled to win over the fans but recent outstanding displays seem to have turned the corner, despite both these games been played at centre half.

The effect of his recent performances can be seen in the fact that prior to this weekends game at Bristol Rovers things were running neck to neck at 50% of votes each.
