Smith Reveals Grigg Talks Have Started
Speaking to the Express and Star, Dean Smith has confirmed today that Will Grigg is amongst a group of players that are in negotiations regarding a new contract.
Top scorer Will Grigg is out of contract at the end of the season along with Febian Brandy and Andy Butler.
Smith said: "There are a few players` representatives I`m talking with to sort things out - Will`s being one of them.
"We`re in talks and I`ve said to Will before I believe the best place for him is Walsall.
Walsall would be entitled to a fee should Grigg depart at the end of his contract, however Walsall will be reminded that the riches will come from another few years of Grigg in our front line...
