'If It's Football, It's Vital'

League Two Preview

This weekend sees another round of exciting games in the Football League`s basement, and a whole host of good games are in store at that.

ACCRINGTON STANLEY will look to add to their midweek 5-0 thrashing of Wrexham with another difficult home game against BOSTON UTD, who will want to go one better than their 3-3 draw at BARNET. Speaking of the Bees, they face a difficult match at Underhill in the shape of NOTTS COUNTY, who are fresh from their stalemate at Chester. Leaders SWINDON are paired up against the out-of-form Peterborough, whose Chairman Barry Fry issued a statement after their 5-0 drumming at the hands of a very, extremely (in an unbiased way) Walsall side to apologise for his sides performance, and branded it as 'disgraceful.` The clash of the day comes at Sincil Bank with the battle between 2nd and 5th, or LINCOLN versus MK DONS. Martin Allen`s outfit will be looking for three points after their 2-1 loss in midweek to Swindon. The Imps will be searching for another three points after their 2-1 win over Macclesfield.

In the other fixtures, CHESTER face GRIMSBY at the Saunders Honda Stadium, with the Blues looking for three points over a Mariners side, who lost 1-0 at Rochdale. Newly promoted HEREFORD take on Chris Casper`s improving BURY side, while Play-Off hopefuls SHREWBURY travel to the north-east to take on another improving side in HARTLEPOOL. DARLINGTON face a home clash with BRISTOL ROVERS, who after their midweek draw at Torquay will be looking to cause an upset against the Quakers, who have only lost one game at the TFM Arena. ROCHDALE face a strong WYCOMBE side, who are third in the table after their 2-1 triumph at Hereford. STOCKPORT face WREXHAM, with the Red Dragons looking for an improvement on their result at Accrington. MANSFIELD face a day in the sun, with a clash at TORQUAY, who are looking to extend their unbeaten run to five matches. And of course, WALSALL play MACCLESFIELD. Good luck Silkmen, you`re going to need it!
