This coming Saturday the Walsall Football Supporters Trust are joining forces with Dean Holden's family (including his wife Danielle, Dean's mum and dad, his brother and sister-in-law plus the children) to hold a bucket collection at Walsall FC for the Meningitis Trust in memory of Dean and Danielle's daughter Cici Milly, who died in the summer from a killer strain of Meningitis Meningcoccal Sepsia.
WE will be around the ground before the game with our buckets and again at half time.
The collectors will be handing out leaflets from the Meningitis Trust full of advice on how to spot the symptoms. We are all hoping that no -one has to go through what Dean, Danielle and the family went through, so please read the leaflets. It could save YOUR loved ones life.
We will also have some Dean Holden 'NUTTER' TEE SHIRTS for sale sizes from small to xxxl at £12, once again the profits will be going into the fund.
Other events are planned including some auction items and an end of season party in the Saddlers Club after the Bury game. Further information will be sent in due course.
Saddlers fans are the best when it comes to supporting Trust fund raisers for the local community. This Saturday they will come together for one very popular player despite being new to the club this season Dean has impressed with his 100 percent commitment to the club and the fans.
