Walsall's Anthony Appeal result

The official site has published that our appeal to the FA over Anthony Gerrards red card on tuesday night has FAILED

However the whole event is more like a west end farce, although nobody is laughing at Bescot. It appears that the written evidence and video were to be at the FA by 1 pm. The club used a special delivery by the Royal Mail that guareentees delivery by 12noon, that is all very well but the FA are still waiting!!! Perhaps Postman Pat is a Macclesfield fan!

It gets worse this whole episode has cost the club 350 plus postage and packing. The club however are trying to get the money back from the Royal Mail, I imagine getting blood out of a stone is going to be easier.

Another hit sit com at Bescot, nothing to say the ban would be over turned.
