Jubilant Smith On Latest Win

Jubilant Smith On Latest Win

Walsall boss Dean Smith expressed his delight on his teams attitude following Oldham's goal on Saturday.

The 3-1 victory gave us our 6th win in 8 games, our 5th home win on the trot and pushed us back into the top 10 of League 1.

Smith said 'It was tough at times, Oldham started at a better tempo than us and for the opening 25 minutes we had to hang onto their coat-tails.

'But we responded to them taking the lead and pushed on from there to get the three points

'It's five home wins on the spin now; it's pleasing but we have to make sure that we don't rest on our laurels and continue working hard because we have some tough games coming up.
