Pro Deal For Another Youngster


Walsall have today given a professional contract to youth team captain Matt Preston following his impressive displays.

Matt has signed an 18 month deal with an option of a further deal at the end of it.

This is another positive article from the club that are trying to improve the infrastructure and build for an exciting future.

Preston today admitted he didnt expect the deal but he is ready for the challenge ahead 'I didn't expect to be offered this deal at this stage, to be honest,' admitted Preston. 'I'm very pleased that my progress has been rewarded in this way and I intend to get my head down and work hard to show people what I can do and move on to the next level in my development'.
