O'Kelly Approached By Bristol City

O'Kelly Approached By Bristol City

We are hearing reports this afternoon that Bristol City have made an official approach to take Walsall Assistant Manager, Richard O'Kelly to Ashton Gate - to work alongside his former colleague Sean O'Driscoll.

Both worked previously at Bournemouth and Doncaster.

It was hoped that after failing to land O'Kelly when at Nottingham Forest, O'Driscoll may turn his attentions elsewhere, however this hasnt deterred him from landing O'Kelly and its now down to the club to offer O'Kelly a new contract and try to force his hand or if permission is granted, its whether he feels that the move is beneficial to himself and his family.

This will be a major blow to the future plans should O'Kelly decide to switch, to a club that will probably be in the same league as us next season.

We shall update you as soon as we know.....
