Smith - 'Its Crunch Time'

Under fire boss Dean Smith has admitted its crunch time as we host Yeovil and Colchester in the forthcoming weeks.

The under fire boss has rightly came under criticism from the Walsall faithful as we now go into the match against Yeovil, winless in 15 league games. The club record currently stands at 22 without a win, under the glory days of John Barnwell..

Our current form reads LLLLDLDDLLLDDDL

Speaking to the Express and Star, Smith said:

"There`s pressure on every game you play. You want to go out and get a win for your supporters, players and families," he said. "The pressure is always there, whether you`re on a good run, bad run or an indifferent one'

"We`ve got two home games to come now and we have got make sure we get a win quickly in one of those."

Anyone would be fooled to think that even under his 2 year contract time is running out for the once dubbed 'Ginger Mourinho' and failure to beat one of Yeovil or Colchester will surely force the hand of Bonser/Gamble and co.....
