Walsall Boss States The Obvious Following Draw

Walsall Boss States The Obvious Following Draw

Following our 1-1 draw with Hartlepool, Dean Smith felt we would have won if we had taken our chances - genius!

Smith told the Official Site 'If we had converted some of our chances, we would have won this game comfortably. Their 'keeper has made some good saves, the ball has flashed across the face of goal a number of times and we have missed opportunities.

He continued... 'If we keep showing these type of qualities, the results will turn. Even if it means us winning with a scrappy goal off someone's backside.

He then ended his usual end of match interview with 'We'll take the positives and work hard on the training ground to be ready for the next game.'

14 games, no win, same drivel from the manager and no communication from the owner.....oh the joys of being a Walsall fan....
