Smith - Walsall Turned The Corner?

Speaking to Express and Star, Walsall boss Dean Smith felt that Walsall deserved to win on Saturday "I`m very pleased for the players because they worked really hard for the result and we`re disappointed we didn`t get all three points'

He continued to praise the work ethic and commitment from his side that are still winless in 12 games, "I hope it`s a corner turned. The lads can certainly take a lot of heart from it. We were excellent from start to finish We`re on a bad run at the moment, we`ve been looking to get back to winning ways and we thought we should have done.

With us at league leaders Tranmere tomorrow you cant help feeling that we could pull off a result similiar to Sheff Wednesday last season and Charlton the year before, that re-ignited our faltering season.
