Smith Vows To Turn It Around

Smith Vows To Turn It Around

Walsall boss Dean Smith told the Express and Star today that despite our shocking run he still believes in his men and our turn in fortune will come.

Smith said "We will keep being competitive and it will turn around, I`m sure of that, because I believe in the players we`ve got,"

He also added "At the end of September when we`d won five out of six I said then our target was 50 points and it always is. The sooner you get there the sooner you can readdress where you`re at. "

We are 31 points away from reaching that 50 point target and currently our 2 points from a possible 27 would see us relegated by Christmas!

How we can go from playing like Brazil to San Marino (I feel im being harsh on San Marino!) in the space of a month is ridiculous and the clock is now ticking on Smith and his team as us the fans are starting to get restless.

Feels like the same old excuses and comments lately....
