Smith Reflects On Yet Another Dire Performance

Dean Smith had this to say following our 4-1 drubbing at the hands of Scunthorpe last night....

'I know, the players know and the supporters know that the performance was nowhere near good enough,' he said

'Confidence comes from winning matches and our confidence has certainly been knocked, but we will stick together to sort things out and come out fighting on Saturday.

We cannot become a bad team overnight. The players have proved they are capable of free flowing football its just finding that form once more. In the space of 5 weeks we have managed to go from the best football of recent years, to the worst...Its now upto Deano as the past 11 games have undone everything he was trying to build and now its down to himself and the players to win the fans back.
