50 Points - First Target For Walsall

Walsall manager Dean Smith has stated his Walsall squad have a strong mentality and will overcome any obstacles, but is still looking for 50 points despite the great start to the season.

Speaking to the Express and Star, Smith said "It`s really important to rack up these points, really important. The 50-point target is the first target that everybody looks at. I`ve been in charge for the last two seasons and that`s been the magic points total to keep us in the league. If we get to that then we can start looking a bit higher."

Also DS revealed that the staff and players went for a dip in the English Channel following their 2-1 win over Bournemouth! - If we keep up the promotion form, Ill be skinny dipping in the Middlewich canal in May!!
