News: Record breaker signs new deal.
Walsall legend Jimmy Walker has given the club a huge boost by agreeing a new deal with Walsall.
'Wacka' who had become a free agent, has been in talks with the club over a possible player/coach role.
Jimmy has now put pen to paper and will stay alongside protege David Grof and will assist Mick Kearns in goalkeeping coaching duties.
It was reported that Dean Smith had asked Jimmy to move away from his Essex location and closer to Walsall as part of the role and this now seems to have been resolved.
