News: Sadler departs.

News: Sadler departs.

Consistent left back Mat Sadler, has rejected Walsall's offer of a two year deal with Walsall in favour of newly promoted Crawley Town.

The defender who signed for the Saddlers last summer missed just one game last season due to suspension, and won the award of players player of the season at the end of season awards.

Sadler was one of only three players offered a two year deal along with Emanuele Smith and Emanuele Ledesma, but Sadler is the first to respond, and will be sorely missed at the back for Walsall next season.
