News: O'Kelly set for a return?

Richard O'Kelly who volunteered in the assistant managers role at Walsall for five months last season, left the club to take over then League two Hereford United nd save them from the drop.

O'Kelly, unfortunately failed to save Hereford from relegation and subsequently left the club.

Smith has left the door open for a return to Walsall for O'Kelly in his search for an assistant manager, Smith told the Express and Star "I`ve got irons in the fire, we`ll see where we go later, and Richard will be under consideration but he might have other offers as well.

If the opportunity arises for us to work with him again we`ll see."
