Walsall V Scunthorpe: Match preview

Walsall head for Glanford Park tonight for a second vital clash in four days with fellow relegation rivals Scunthorpe United.

Dean Smith is boosted by the full recovery of both Jimmy Walker and Jon Macken with the latter pushing for starting place, but Walker may have to settle for the bench due to David Grof's clean sheet on Saturday.

The only real casualty for the tie in terms of Walsall is Daryl Westlake who is still sidelined with an ankle injury, whilst Manny Smith could return.

Scunthorpe are widely expected to name and unchanged side from the one that beat Leyton Orient at the weekend.

Club Captain Cliff Byrne and Damien Mozika could still be out.

This will be another match for the Saddlers where picking up a point at least will be vital, with Scunthorpe sitting 3 points ahead of us outside of the relegation zone with a game in hand.
