Walsall v Wycombe Wanderers: Preview

The first playable game at the Banks' Stadium for quite some time, see's relegation rivals Wycombe Wanderers come to town this weekend.

A game which is being built as a milestone game for both teams, is sure to be hotly contested (or not as the case may be).

The Saddlers are still sweating on the fitness of experienced duo, Jon Macken and Jimmy Walker, who are back in training but it remains to e seen how the hamstrings hold up as to whether they play a part.

Daryl Westlake is the only other casualty as a training injury see's the fullback sidelined for a couple of weeks.

This is surely a must win for The Saddlers with Wycombe sitting one place and one point above us in the relegation zone.

There is also widespread acknowledgement that this may well be 'last chance saloon' for manager Dean Smith.

Lets keep our fingers crossed for that elusive yet oh so vital three points.
