Oldham v Walsall: A preview

Walsall tonight head to Oldham, in the hope of getting there stumbling season back on track.

Both teams' previous couple of fixtures have fallen foul of the recent poor weather an will be hoping this isn't the case for tonight's Valentines day clash.

Walsall who are in dire need of the points after Wycombe picked up 3 points during the Saddlers enforced break, will still be without the experienced Jon Macken and star goalkeeper Jimmy Walker.

The important duo both picked up hamstring problems during our last game with Notts County and hope to be back for the weekends crunch clash with relegation rivals Wycombe Wanderers.

This will mean proven solid replacement David Grof will pull on the gloves and undoubtedly a chance for Will Grigg, Ryan Jarvis or George Bowerman to come in and show their worth.

Oldham will be without Zander Diamond and are sweating on the availability of captain Dean Furman and ex Saddlers loanee Ruben Reid who have both recently been out with an ankle injury and thigh problem respectively.
