'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Beevers happy to hang up Keepers' gloves

Stand in goalie Lee Beevers says he is happy to stay just in front of the goal, not in it, in future after he was thrust into goal on Saturday.

He did a stirling job between the sticks and managed to keep the score at 2-0 with a good performance at the Banks's.

'It was okay, but a bit nerve-wracking. It was a new situation for me and I was pleased to keep a clean sheet in the second half.' He told the official site.

'In fact, the second half was one of our best halves of the season, we just need to do it over the full 90 minutes on a consistent basis.' He added.

However, there is no danger for him to change position for good.

'It was alright... it`s not something I will be making a habit of - definitely not. I think Grof might be straight back in."

Lee, you did everyone proud and they would be forgiven in thinking they were in for a right drubbing once the red card was shown!

Well Done Lee!
