'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Do it for the fans says Smith

Manager Dean Smith has said that Saddlers must be wary of the Carlisle threat but knows what a good Saddler performance means to the fans.

The Saddler faithful have been through the ringer recently and need something to lift their spirits.

Carlisle have won 4 times away from home this season, drawing once and losing three. So they are fairly balanced as they make the long journey south tomorrow.

Dean Smith told the official site:'Carlisle have done better on their travels this season than they have at home and this is something that I am surprised about.'

Smith also admitted that the Saddlers need to turn their luck around to lift Saddler spirits.

'It is our job is to entertain at home and it's fair to say that we've not done that so far.' He added.

Lets' hope that it won't be just the autumn heatwave that makes the Saddlers smile tomorrow! 3 points please!
