Richard Taundry admitted today that there is something missing in the Walsall camp, but promises they will put things right for the fans.
After a promising start to the season, they have succumbed to 3 defeats and a draw in the last 4 games.
Saddlers' fans would be forgiven that all 3 points were theirs on Saturday but a Scunthorpe equaliser late on robbed them.
'We weren't quite there and haven't been so for the past few games, if we're being honest. It's something we sat down and talked about in detail yesterday.' He told the official site.
It has been a tumultuous time for the Saddler fans over recent seasons and Taundry admits that they need something to smile about
He added: 'We have to give the supporters something to cheer about and we've not done that recently. Rest assured, we're all working extremely hard to put things right.'
Saddlers look ahead to Saturday's away trip to Colchester United and Taundry concluded that they will be doing everything to secure all three points.
'We're going to have a good, solid week on the training ground and get ourselves ready for Colchester on Saturday.'
Well, let's see what they can do and pray the right Walsall will turn up.
Up The Saddlers!
