Dribbler wanted at Bescot

Paul Merson produced a fair amount of dribble in his time at Bescot, unfortunatly it wasn't on the pitch.

As we brought to you yesterday our next target is to strenghten our attacking options. However comments in the local press from Dickie Dosh have stated that he wants a player to run at defenders and have the ability to drible past them.....Ronaldo from ManU perhaps!!!

So in this light it maybe be a wide attacking player especially since Tony Bedeau has been ruled out for three weeks with an ankle injury picked up from a tackle with Jono Greening in the WBA game which was aggrivated against Worcester. However many fans feel that an attacking midfield player is required in the squad. Some suggestions that Robert Martinez would return to Bescot have come to nothing with the ex saddler joining Chester City getting an extra year on the contract lenght as well as teaming up with his old manager Graham Barlow.

However more interestingly, although Dickie Dosh has hoped that the additional signing will be with us in time to join Alan Picken against Rochdale this may not be the end of our raids into the transfer market. Richard does want quality and will not take people for the sake of it, are you listening Mr Merson.
