Striker next !!

As we told you earlier in the day Walsall have signed the defender from Newcastle Jets. Allan Picken a 6ft 2in left sided player is awaiting international clearence and is set to make his debut against Rochdale on saturday.

As stated to the local press we are close to bringing in an additional striker. However it is likely to be a season long loan, and is rumoured to be from a premiurship or championship club, a young gun with an eye for goal but not having the experience of Butler or Sam perhaps. Or an more experienced player recovering from injury. There are plently of players who would fit the bill. Watch this space.
