'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Oliver Lancashire is ready for action!

Oliver Lancashire is feeling fit and ready to take his place in the Saddlers side, after being deflated from the Sheffield United defeat.

Lancashire admitted that he found defeat hard to take and had trouble falling asleep that night (as well as many supporters I would expect) but is fighting fit thanks to physio Jon Whitney.

The 22 year old was in an out of the team last season but he has regained his place and the feeling is there that it is Lancashire's year to shine along the backline.

He told the Express and Star: "I`m still disappointed. I went home on Tuesday night and couldn`t really sleep. I kept on thinking about the game and how we didn`t get three points, let alone one, but we`ve got to take the positives.'

Saddlers face Yeovil tomorrow and the their last visit in March doesn't fill Lancashire with the fondest of memories, after he was withdrawn at halftime and lost his place.

'When we played them last it was towards the end of the season and, like now, it was five games in two weeks and it took its toll on my body....this year I`m feeling a lot fitter thanks to our physio Jon Whitney`s great pre-season.' He added to the Express and Star.

So it looks like he is raring to go! Good Luck Oliver!

Up The Saddlers!
