As any Saddlers fan will agree Dean Smith is nothing short of a miracle worker, dragging the lads away from sure fire relegation last season to final day survival. However this appears to have gone un-noticed by the nations bookmakers.
Although 'Ginger Mourinho` Smith has been very busy during this pre-season, with bringing in new signings in the hope of building a squad capable of more than just relegation dog fighting, the bookies are still expecting The Saddlers to be in trouble.
The Saddlers are reportedly second favourites for the drop behind Yeovil Town and expected to be stuck fighting for safety amogst the likes of Stevenage, Wycombe and Tranmere, amongst others.
Bookies have even gone as far as to place Smith as fourth favourite in League 1 to lose his job first during the season!
All I can say to that is Come On You Saddlers lets prove them wrong!!!!
Up the Saddlers!
