Saddlers set second Scotland clash

Walsall will play Gretna 2008 FC on July 15th (subject to confirmation,) securing their second friendly game as they spend some time training in Stirling. Greenock Morton will be their opponents on July 13th.

Gretna 2008 FC was founded 3 years ago after Gretna FC folded. They are a non league team, playing in the East of Scotland football league, equivalent to our conference and were first division champions last season taking them to the premier division.

Greenock Morton are higher level, playing in the Scottish Football League First Division.

The game at Gretna will wrap up Scottish experience and the players will head back to Walsall and play Barnsley away the next day.

Should be a great time in Scotland that's just a week away now!
