Time's ticking: Smith looks set to get new faces

Dean Smith has said that he is persuing targets and hopes to bring them to the Banks's ahead of pre season training next Thursday.

Opinions have been flying around in the last couple of days by bemused supporters as Ledesma, Gray and Richards have not yet told Dean Smith whether or not they will sign new contracts. Richards went on to tweet his intention to stay.

Smith told the official site: 'There are a couple of players that I am hoping to have on board within the next few days...We're working extremely hard behind-the-scenes to put things in place.'

The summer break has come and gone too quickly but we now look ahead to the new faces that will be at the Banks's for the League One 2011/2012 season.
