'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Ishmel -'The Demon'

Earlier in the month teenage winger Ishmel Demontagnac went public on his desire to walk away from provication from tormented defenders. However he stated his role model was the reformed Wayne Rooney, and we all know what happen a couple of weeks later against Portugal.

Well after a number of 'incidents' and a couple of red cards last season, Ishmel earnt a reputation as a player which the opposition could get too, wind up and get him removed from the game either carded or subsituted.

Last night his temper was evident for all to see again as he tormented the home defence only to become the subject of some harsh tackles. One such tackle provoked an angry response and a verbal exchange and some hand bag stuff. This was shortly followed by another foul on Ishmel and a similar response which lead to Richard Money calling the player off. In league Two he can expect more of the same, but he would surely have seen red as a result.

Ishmel has the talent to set league two alight, and his pace will trouble any defence. However he is in danger of becomming a liability to the team. Where the talk should be how to get the best out of him and him securing a first team shirt for the Rochdale game, we are talking about if we can risk him coming on as sub!!.

The message to the manager is clear, the boys temperment needs to be resolved whether this is in house or the use of a sports therapist or anger management I don't know but if Ishmel is going to save his career then the time scale is getting shorter by the game. It would be such a waste for the individual was well as the club.
