'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Laird: We're ready!

Mark Laird has declared Walsall ready and willing ahead of the Addicks clash tomorrow.

The joviality of today will hopefully spill in tomorrow and Laird is confident that Walsall has what it takes to take home all 3 points.

He told the official site: 'We had to make sure we recovered right over the weekend, prepared properly and just look forward to it....of course, you've got to be confident...we're in a good position now and we've got to make sure we win and get the three points.'

The Saddlers skipped the Royal Wedding and trained this morning ahead of the clash.

They are in a precarious position in 20th position, poking the heads out of the relegation zone with two games today.

Laird concluded 'We remained unbeaten, which has given us confidence going into Charlton on Saturday.'
