Breaking! Laird heads to the Banks's!

Dean Smith has signed midfielder Marc laird until the end of the season.

The 25 year old comes straight from Millwall after falling out of favour at The Den.

Manager Dean Smith said of the signing to the official site 'He's an energetic, box-to-box midfielder who will be a welcome addition to our squad.'

He has made just 2 appearances for the London club this season, previously making 90 since joining 3 years ago. He made four outings for Brentford at the start of this year where he spent time on loan.

He started his career at Manchester City, where he went on loan to Northampton Town and Port Vale.

Check back later for more info and comments!

He could well be in line to make his debut in Friday's clash at MK Dons.
