Walsall welcome new midfielder

The Saddlers have another new face at the Banks's as defensive midfielder Marc Antoine Gbarssin joins on a one and a half month loan.

Dean Smith says the 26 year old will bring stability to the centre of the park, which has proved a problem for him in recent games. He told the official site: 'Whilst Emmanuel Ledesma will give us flair and unpredictability, Marc Antoine has a solid and no-nonsense style. He is a welcome addition to the squad.'

Gbarssin arrives from Carlisle United, who he signed for at the start of the year.

He started his career at Bordeaux, moving to Grenoble, SK Limbeek and R. E. Virton before a successful 3 years at Belgian Champions Royal Antwerp. He then had a deal fall through after a trial spell at Bologna before moving to England with Carlsile United

He could make his debut away at Swindon Town tomorrow, subject to paperwork etc.

Seems like a good signing!
