Defence concerns for Rochdale game
Whilst, we have known that Westwood would be serving his last game of a three match ban and Ian Roper starting his 3 match ban on the first game next season. We also knew that it would leave us with Anthony Gerrard as the only available centre half.
So Richard has been looking at the options in training and it seems the options of moving the likes of Dobson back into defence is a none starter. Richard Money told the Express and Star yesterday that he would be investigating the posibility of a loan move to cover the centre of defence for the opening month.
What also seems to be a side issue is that any saddlers who still held hopes of signing Pablo Mills for next season, must surely have seen this hope vanish. Since if the possibility of him signing was still an option we would not have gone public on the requirement of a loan player. Pablo Mills has strongly been linked to moves to either Bradford or Tranmere.
