McGivern Gone? Defender to return to City

McGivern Gone? Defender to return to City

Reports today suggest that Ryan McGivern is to return to Manchester City after he has fallen out of favour at the Banks's Stadium.

According to Sky Sports News, the 21 year old will return to the City of Manchester Stadium with the view to be loaned back out to another club for the remainder of the season.

McGivern was an integral part of the defence, but a red card at the away game to Fleetwood Town in the FA Cup first round and subsequent suspension has hampered his first team opportunities. Andy Butler came on loan in his absence and kept his place since.

It will be sad to lose McGivern as he was a valuable player when he played, but best of luck to him as he looks to further his playing experience.

So check back later as more news will undoubtedly come!
