'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Hutchings receives full board backing

Chris Hutchings has spoken out on his current position and maintains that his role of Walsall boss is safe.

Despite much vocal dismay aimed at the boss, Hutchings says he has the full support of the chairman and the money at his disposal.

He told Birmingham Mail: 'He has given us money to try to spend in the loan market, which we have done with Martin Devaney and Andrew Davies, two players from good divisions with plenty of experience.'

Despite Walsall's woeful league position, Hutchings added that they are getting stuck in to turn things around by saying 'You have to roll your sleeves up and come out fighting even harder and that`s what we are doing...scrapping is what it`s all about in this situation. The players have to dig deep.'

Hutchings future at the club should look bleak on paper, but you would not guess it from these comments. Hutchings needs to stop with the wishy washy comments and face facts he is not doing the job he should be at the Banks's anymore and things don't look like they are going to get any better quickly.
