HT: Walsall struggling against Huddersfield

Same story, different day so far for Walsall, has they have gone one behind against ten men Huddersfield.

Alan Lee was dismissed on 23 minutes for a reckless tackle on Manny Smith, before Anthony Pilkington put the hosts ahead with an impressive shot to the right of the goal.

Walsall are showing signs of positive play but are falling behind a strong Huddersfield team. Matthew Richards came close on 35 minutes but put the ball wide, after Jon Macken took a shot that was saved by Ian Bennett.

Walsall now go into the second half boosted being against ten men but still have a hill to climb.
