Matthew Richards has given his team mates a must needed boost, saying he is confident they can turn their awful start to the season around.
The 25 year old, who has shone in central midfield despite their poor run, has said that the next two games are must win.
He stated that the team are all ready to get the winning wheels in motion, telling the Express and Star: "We`ve got the confidence that we can get it out of our heads and start the season here. We`ve got to put it right and it`s important for the whole team and the club.'
"Yeovil and Exeter are games we`ve got to take six points from. We can turn that awful run into a positive run now and we can build on the result.' He added
The ex Ipswich and Brighton man, concluded by giving his backing to Chris Hutchings saying the finger can't be pointed solely on him for the team's failings. He said: '"It`s not just the manager, it`s the whole team who are under pressure. It`s our own fault, it`s not the manager`s fault.'
Richards is feeling the frustrations of Saddler fans, who all hope the next game is going to be a victory. The 0-0 draw at Leyton Orient is a step in the right direction and a significant clean sheet. Lets hope he is right and there will be smiles from him and all the team come 5.30pm Saturday.
