Deeney unhappy over transfer saga
Troy Deeney has today spoken out of his happiness surrounding his potential exit from the Banks's Staduim.
The Saddler's have rejected a fourth bid for the 22 year old, and he says he is frustrated about their reluctance to let him move to play at a higher level.
A fourth bid for him from Watford is rumoured to be around £375,000
Speaking to Sky Sports, he said: 'I am disappointed in Walsall's continued rejection of offers for my transfer that are more than generous in the current financial climate.'
'What I find more disturbing, however, is their reluctance to communicate with the interested club in a mature and professional manner to try to resolve the position for the benefit of all parties.'
Deeney also stated that he has handed in a transfer request to the club, but no official word on this has been announced.
It is the first time Deeney has spoken out about Watford's interest, and you can see why he feels frustrated that he is so close to championship football but is being dragged away each time. He still has a job to do for Saddlers as the new season beckons and nothing but 100% is expected from him. However only time will tell if his frustrations will transfer onto the pitch, some might say it would be incredibly difficult not to do so.
